This is not because automation itself is cheaper, but because it can effectively protect income from daily fluctuations that are difficult to control during manual operations. In such scenarios, machines are not essentially hardware, but rather a system tool for standardizing profits.
If the business revolves around human led services, lower traffic volume, and flexible value-added projects, manual cleaning may still be a better capital allocation. The key is to make an honest comparison between the two business models - focusing only on initial buyers often underestimates the friction costs in operation; Buyers who only focus on saving manpower may overestimate the actual demand and installed capacity they can digest.
